believes Raphinha would be a ‘great’ signing for Arsenal after the Gunners lost out to Chelsea in the race for .
The Gunners had made Mudryk their top target for the January transfer window but were unable to agree a fee with Shakhtar Donetsk after weeks of negotiations.

When asked if Arsenal still need to improve their squad in January, Wright told Premier League Productions: ‘Absolutely they do.
‘It’s a shame about Mudryk but good luck to him, hopefully it goes well.
‘It didn’t work out for Arsenal simply because they [] went to a level that Arsenal couldn’t reach and Chelsea can. So they move again.
‘There’s talk about Raphinha, that would be great, he’s played in the Premier League.
‘But I think what it doesn’t do is stop what’s happening now. What I’m really pleased about with Arsenal is that not, through the fact they’ve wanted a player that could come into the group and help, gone overboard and tried to get him, which may mess the group up, to bring somebody in for the money he’s on, the amount they’re paying for him.
‘It’s going off plan. Don’t go off plan, because at the moment everything is running pretty smoothly, so stay doing what you’re doing.’
