But, while Sancho managed a respectable seven goals in 39 appearances last term, his performance level was mixed at best.

But the say Ten Hag’s intention is to give Sancho another full season to prove himself at the club, as he remains an admirer of the playmaker.
It’s hoped that a full pre-season will give Sancho the platform to perform and a spot on the side’s left flank could open up if Marcus Rashford starts the season as a centre forward.
In any case, Sancho’s wages make a move elsewhere difficult as there are few sides in world football that could afford his £200,000-a-week salary alongside a £50m transfer fee.
