are reportedly readying an offer for star and top and target Michael Olise.
The winger has been attracting a lot of interest for some time and last summer looked very close to joining Chelsea before penning a new long-term contract with Palace.
Though he has been plagued with injuries this season, when Olise has played he’s been sensational with six goals and three assists in 11 appearances, though he could miss the rest of the campaign with a hamstring issue.
That as Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s revolution at Old Trafford begins.
The right-wing has been a problem area for the Red Devils, so they hope the 22-year-old can be the solution and are planning to trigger his release clause when it becomes active at the end of the season.
Chelsea are also still interested in Olise’s services, but the now report that Juventus have entered the race and already have a plan on how to sign him.
The Italian giants are unlikely to be able to bid as much as their Premier League rivals, so they plan to make an offer that will include sending promising forward Matias Soule to Selhurst Park in part exchange.
Positionally very similar to Olise, Soule has spent the season on loan at Frosinone where he has scored 10 goals and made two assists in 23 Serie A appearances.
The 20-year-old Argentine is well-regarded but it remains to be seen what Palace’s stance is on selling their France youth international, which could well depend on if they avoid the drop.
Following Monday night’s 1-1 draw at Everton, the Eagles are just five points above he relegation zone, and have a new manager to contend with after Oliver Glasner replaced Roy Hodgson.
The former Frankfurt boss’ first game will be at home to fellow strugglers Burnley on Saturday.
He’ll be without Palace’s four best players however with Olise, Eberechi Eze, Marc Guehi – who has also been linked with a move away – and Cheick Doucoure all sidelined.
