Ousmane Dembele has officially become a free agent following the expiry of his contract at .

The winger was once heralded as one of the most exciting prospects in Europe, but he has struggled to live up to expectations following his move from Borussia Dortmund in a deal worth £135.5m in 2017.

report that although Dembele has not yet responded to the Catalan club’s latest contract offer, he could still yet extend his stay at Camp Nou.

The 25-year-old is said to be holding out for one last offer including improved terms.

Dembele is, however, aware of interest from Chelsea and Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Tuchel is thought to have made the winger a prime target, having coached him at Dortmund.

The Blues boss is looking to add to his attacking options following the return of Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan on a season-long loan.

Leeds United’s Raphinha is another player both Chelsea and Barcelona are interested in signing this summer.

The Blues are said to have agreed an offer of £55million rising to £60m with Leeds.

However, recent reports have indicated , with Camp Nou the player’s preferred destination.

Chelsea are also on the lookout for defenders following the departures of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger.

Matthijs De Ligt of Juventus and Sevilla’s Jules Kounde have both been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge.
