has reportedly told that he has no intention of leaving the club this season.

This means that the winner and one of best players in the world may not play any club football for the next year, with PSG set to continue freezing out their talisman.

Mbappe’s contract expires next summer and though he has the option to extend it, the forward informed his club earlier this summer that he has no intention of doing so.

As a result, PSG want to sell him now rather than losing him on a free in 2024, but there’s a significant problem – it is believed that the France captain already has an agreement to join when his deal expires.

In light of this, the Ligue 1 champions have been exploring short term options to move the 24-year-old, recoup some money on him and get some of his salary off the wage bill.

A solution appeared to have been found after , only for Mbappe to flat out reject the move despite being offered a one-year deal worth £604m.

It had been recently reported that the forward could be open to a loan move to the Premier League, with Chelsea and , but all hope of seeing the superstar in the England has now been quashed.

report that Mbappe has told PSG once and for all that he does not want to leave this summer -but PSG’s stance has not changed and he will remain frozen out as they look to make an example of him and show that no player is bigger than club.

It is claimed that the forward feels he has been let down by his side over their transfer policy as he was promised that they would be signing Robert Lewandowski and Bernardo Silva.

Mbappe moved to Paris from Monaco is 2017 in a deal worth over £155m, and has since become their all-time record goalscorer with 212 goals in 260 appearances.

He hasn’t been able to win the coveted Champions League though, reaching the final in 2020, even though he has been supported by world-class teammates like Neymar and Lionel Messi.

The French giants have spent heavily this summer as they prepare for life after Mbappe, bringing in the likes of Manuel Ugarte, Lucas Hernandez and Goncalo Ramos, with Ousmane Dembele set to sign soon.
