LaLiga paid tribute to Lionel Messi after he appeared at his final press conference as a Barcelona player on Sunday.
Messi has played in the Spanish top flight for the last 21 years.
During that time, he scored 672 times in 778 games for Barca.
The 34-year-old leaves as both the club's record appearance maker and top goal scorer.
"We made history together. It's been a matter of pride to see you become a legend. Thanks, Leo Messi," LaLiga wrote on social media.
Messi is widely expected to undergo medicals with Paris Saint-Germain early this week.
He will then put pen to paper on a two-year deal with an option for one more.
