Liverpool have agreed a €40 million (£34m) deal with to sign .
The 21-year-old is due to travel to Liverpool on Thursday evening and will undergo a medical ahead of Friday’s transfer window deadline.
Manchester United had also made an approach for Gravenberch earlier this summer but Liverpool have stepped up their efforts in the closing stages of the window .
Gravenberch joined Bayern last year in a €18.5 million (£16m) deal from but failed to secure a regular place in the team in his first season in Germany.
After starting just five games in all competitions last term, Gravenberch made it clear earlier this summer that he would push for a move if his situation stayed the same.
Bayern have played two games in the Bundesliga this season and Gravenberch has made just one late appearance as a subsitute.
