Pep Guardiola’s side sit one point ahead of the Gunners and have a game in hand and a superior goal difference as they chase a historic treble.
Alexander-Arnold believes Manchester City will win all of their remaining league games and sympathises with Arsenal who have been competing with a ‘juggernaut’ this season.
Arsenal sensed an opportunity to win the Premier League for the first time since 2004 but to forfeit their lead over Man City.
‘The league [title race] is obvious now,’ Liverpool and England star Alexander-Arnold told .
‘I’ve said it for a while, if Man City are anywhere close, if they smell blood at Christmas, New Year – it’s game over really.
‘There’s no stopping them once they start winning and now at this point, I’d be surprised if they drew a game.
‘I think it’s just got to be their mindset, I think it’s just the messaging because they don’t even go behind in games at this point.
‘There’s no messing around, there’s no scares, there’s no ups and downs in games. With Arsenal, it was exciting because they were dropping points, but in an exciting way.
‘Whereas Man City, I don’t even know how to describe it, they’re like a juggernaut.’
Premier League leaders Manchester City return to action on Saturday against Sam Allardyce’s Leeds United, while Arsenal face Newcastle United later in the weekend.
While Liverpool are some way off the title rivals, Alexander-Arnold will still hope to help the Reds qualify for next season’s Champions League, with Jurgen Klopp’s side fifth with four games remaining.
