are reportedly set to offer three of their key players contract extensions following the departure of forwards Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling.
According to , the Citizens are prioritising a new deal for Riyad Mahrez, and once that is concluded they will turn their attention to and Rodri.
Jesus’ long-anticipated move to was confirmed on Monday while Sterling has reportedly agreed personal terms with , with talks between the two clubs said to be near completion.
While City have now sold two highly prolific players to Premier League rivals, they have only done so after securing two new goal-scorers of their own in the form of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund and Julian Alvarez from River Plate.

The 31-year-old enjoyed his best campaign at City so far last season, netting 24 goals to finish as the club’s top goal scorer across all competitions, but his contract expires next summer, and Pep Guardiola is not going to risk losing the Algerian captain on a free.
After Mahrez, forward Foden and defensive midfielder Rodri are next on the list for renewal with both players’ deals running until 2024 and due an upgrade following several excellent seasons in Manchester.
As well as the arrivals of Haaland and Alvarez, City have also brought in defensive midfielder Kalvin Phillips from Leeds and goalkeeper Stefan Ortega from Armenia Bielefeld, while Guardiola is continuing to push for Brighton left-back Marc Cucurella.
