Manchester United and Chelsea track Celtic full-back Josip Juranovic

Celtic full-back Josip Juranovic is attracting the attention of and and could be available for as little as £15m, according to reports.

The 26-year-old only moved to Glasgow last year, signing for the Bhoys from Legia Warsaw for just £2.5m and has quickly impressed in Scotland.

Juranovic has 20 caps for Croatia and has played on both sides of defence at full-back, as well as taking penalties for Celtic last season, scoring five goals in all competitions.

report that Chelsea and Manchester United have been paying attention to his progress and are looking at the Croatian as an addition to their squads this summer.

The Blues have Reece James as first choice on the right of defence, while Cesar Azpilicueta has stayed at the club despite links with Barcelona, so they are not desperate for a right-back, but would like cover.

Manchester United are playing Diogo Dalot at right-back, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka has fallen out of favour and could leave for former club Crystal Palace.

Juranovic is being considered by both the Blues and Red Devils, while Atletico Madrid have also been credited with an interest in his signature.

Responding to reported interest from the Spanish giants, the defender told RTL: ‘I hope there was something in the stories, but honestly I didn’t even ask our manager or anything about it. I didn’t care.

‘I have to keep my feet firmly on the ground. It was after all, but I’m at a big club already, Celtic.

‘Finally I have the chance to play in the Champions League here. Just to hear the atmosphere, that anthem and to get to play on that stage.’
