The Premier League side are set to pay close to £60million to bring the Brazil international to Old Trafford.
A short statement from the club read: ‘Manchester United is delighted to announce that the club has reached agreement with Real Madrid for the transfer of Casemiro.
‘The transfer is subject to the agreement of personal terms, UK visa requirements and a medical.’
Real Madrid have also confirmed a deal is done and will host a farewell ceremony for the midfielder in the Spanish capital on Monday alongside club president Florentino Perez.
Casemiro is set to leave the Bernabeu with an extraorinary haul of accolades, having won 18 titles in total with five Champions Leagues, three La Liga titles, three Club World Cups, three European Super Cups, one Copa del Rey and three Spanish Super Cups.

Casemiro is set to become United’s fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez.
