Martin Dubravka has been ruled out of ’s clash against on Saturday evening.

The 35-year-old has deputised for since Newcastle’s No.1 goalkeeper .

However, Dubravka has missed this weekend due to illness and is replaced in the starting XI by .

The former Liverpool goalkeeper has made just one appearance for Newcastle – the defeat to Manchester United in the Carabao Cup final last season – and has not started a Premier League game since May 2018.

Karis is one of three changes following Newcastle’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouthlast Saturday as Alexander Isak returns from a groin injury to replace Harvey Barnes in attack, while Tino Livramento is preferred to Dan Burn at left-back.

Arsenal, meanwhile, make one change from their on Wednesday evening as Jorginho is brought into midfield while Leandro Trossard drops to the bench.
