gave a coy response and was reluctant to discuss individual names when asked about the possibility of signing on Saturday.
Jordan Henderson is reportedly unhappy at side Al-Ettifaq .
It is thought that the 33-year-old England international midfielder, who only left Liverpool six months ago, will consider offers from any Premier League club.
The former Liverpool captain would add valuable experience to a young Chelsea squad but Pochettino did not want to discuss the player in his post-match press conference on Saturday .
‘We didn’t talk about names,’ Pochettino said when asked about Chelsea’s chances of landing Henderson. ‘At the moment we are not talking about players.
‘I saw [co-owner] Behdad Eghbali with [co-sporting directors] Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley.
‘I think tomorrow we are going to have a chat. We didn’t talk about names or players. For now we are focusing on players like Andrey Santos.’
Meanwhile, Pochettino has revealed that three of his players are ‘so close’ of making their respective returns from injury.
‘We are so close with Ben Chilwell, Benoit Badiashile and Carney Chukwuemeka but we need to see every day the evolution,’ he added. ‘Always the risk is really important and seeing how the players perform in the training session.
‘All of the players when they go to the session feel they are ready. If you ask they say, ‘I know myself’ – but 99.9 per cent [of the time] they make a mistake. Our opinion is good to see if they are available or not.’
