Former Lionesses forward Sanderson is ‘surprised’ Caicedo picked Chelsea and says she would not have wanted to move to Stamford Bridge given the ‘instability’ at the club.

While Chelsea are expected to improve under Mauricio Pochettino, there are concerns over the club’s transfer strategy as Todd Boehly has spent almost £1bn on largely unproven players.
‘There’s no stability at that club. And that’s why I’m surprised that Moises Caicedo went to Chelsea,’ Sanderson told .
‘People were saying, “but it’s his dream club”. He tagged Arsenal as his dream club about six months ago.

Caicedo, who said it was a ‘dream come true’ to join Chelsea, could make his Blues debut on Sunday when Pochettino’s side travel across London to face West Ham.
‘I didn’t have to think twice when Chelsea called me, I just knew I wanted to sign for the club,’ the 21-year-old said. ‘It’s a dream come true to be here and I can’t wait to get started with the team.’
Chelsea also beat Liverpool to a deal for ex-Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia after welcome Caicedo to Stamford Bridge. He too is in line to make his Chelsea debut this weekend.
