Moussa Diaby is in contention for ’s clash with Wolves this weekend but admits the forward is ‘not 100 per cent’.
The 24-year-old has made an impressive start at Villa following his £51.9 million move from Bayer Leverkusen in the , scoring two goals and registering three assists so far in the Premier League this season.
Diaby was forced off in the closing stages of Villa’s 6-1 win over Brighton last Saturday and missed the 1-0 victory against Zrinjski Mostar in the Europa Conference League on Thursday evening.
However, Emery has confirmed that Diaby will be part of Villa’s final training session on Saturday ahead of their trip to Wolves on Sunday afternoon.
‘Moussa Diaby and [Boubacar] Kamara are both going to work tomorrow with the team and in case they will feel good, could be [in the team], but not 100 per cent,’ Emery said on Friday.
When asked about Jacob Ramsey and Alex Moreno, Emery said: ‘They are not going to be available, Jacob Ramsey or Alex Moreno.
‘Jacob Ramsey, he needs time again to recover his injury, more or less again he has [the same] injury. He is not going to be available.
‘Alex Moreno was progressing and working with the team. He was doing training sessions, but he needed to stop again because he wasn’t feeling good.
‘Now, again he is feeling better. Hopefully, after the break he could be with the group training again.’
