has sent a message to Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi amid ’s search for a new permanent manager.
De Zerbi is among the host of managers to have been linked with the job at Stamford Bridge with in charge until the end of the season following ’s dismissal.
A thorough search is underway with former having held further talks with the club this week.
De Zerbi meanwhile has reportedly distanced himself from the role, eager to continue his fine work at Brighton with the Seagulls in the semi-finals of the FA Cup and firmly in contention for European qualification.
But Mudryk, who played under the Italian at Shakhtar Donetsk, appears to have signalled who his preferred candidate might be after the two were reunited at Stamford Bridge last week where Brighton sealed a 2-1 over the Blues.
‘Nice to meet you again,’ Mudryk, along with a heart emoji and a picture of the two sharing a warm embrace.
De Zerbi has lavished praise on the Ukraine international, labelling him a future Ballon d’Or winner
‘Mudryk is a top player and I think for him, it’s difficult to start in another country, in another team.
‘Everyone knows the situation of Chelsea this year, it’s very difficult especially for a young player, for a young guy.
‘But, he has the quality to become a star in the Premier League.’

The former Barcelona and Spain manager travelled to London earlier this month for facer-to-face talks with co-sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley – who are leading the managerial hunt.
