star is waiting for the club to appoint their new manager before he makes a final decision on his future at Old Trafford.

The 29-year-old is out of contract in the summer and talks over a new deal ended earlier this season.

Pogba didn’t reject the club’s last offer but he did not accept it, with United believing he was stringing them along in order to leave for free at the end of his deal.

The winner gave the clearest indication yet earlier this week that he intends on leaving the club by taking a swipe at and saying United’s season was ‘dead’.

‘You have to be honest, the last five seasons have not satisfied me – really not at all,’ said Pogba.

‘This year it is dead, we won’t win anything. Whether it is with Manchester United or at another club, I want to win trophies

‘It’s simple with France, I play and I play in my position – I know my role and I feel the confidence of the coach and the players.’

The likes of PSG, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich have all shown interest in Pogba but SkySports say United’s hopes of keeping him are still alive.

Pogba is reportedly waiting on the club to appoint a new manager and he will speak to the new man before deciding his future.

United are deciding between Erik ten Hag and Mauricio Pochettino, with the former having impressed during an interview earlier this week.

Both managers favour a 4-3-3 system and an attacking brand of football, which would suit Pogba.
