and ’s chances of signing Paulo Dybala this summer have increased as Inter Milan’s interest in the striker has cooled.

The Argentina international is available on a free transfer after leaving when his contract expired at the end of last season.

There is no shortage of interest in him, the Red Devils and the Gunners linked, as well as , while Inter Milan were thought to hold the most serious interest in his signature.

However, since bringing Romelu Lukaku back to the club, Inter are less bothered about paying Dybala huge wages and report that they are not pushing to sign him nearly as much as they were earlier in the summer.

This is good news for his suitors in the Premier League, with the 28-year-old open to a switch to England for the first time in his career.

Arsenal have already signed Gabriel Jesus this summer and the addition of Dybala would mean a very crowded forward line under Mikel Arteta.

Fabio Vieira has arrived for nearly £30m from Porto, Eddie Nketiah has signed a new contract, while Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe, Gabriel Martinelli, Martin Odegaard and Nicolas Pepe were all already competing for places.

The ESPN report states that Manchester United’s interest does not depend on whether Cristiano Ronaldo leaves this summer, as he wants to do.

New manager Erik ten Hag must decide whether he sees Dybala as a part of his rebuilding plan at Old Trafford, as United have long held an interest in the forward, but it is not clear whether the Dutchman does.
