star Reece James has demanded more ‘respect’ for Roma striker after he broke a long-standing record held by legendary Argentina forward Gabriel Batistuta.
Abraham scored twice in a 3-0 win against rivals Lazio on Sunday to break a record jointly-held by Batistuta for goals in a debut season at the Stadio Olimpico.

Abraham joined Roma last summer after he was told he was surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge following the £97m arrival of .
The former ace has been criticised throughout his career but his scoring record is undeniable, with Abraham bagging 23 times in 40 appearances for Roma this term.
And, taking to his Instagram account, James defended his former team-mate and told people to give him more respect.
‘Numbers don’t lie,’ said James.
‘Pay some respect please.’
Abraham became just the second Englishman to score in the Rome derby.
Paul Gascoigne was the first, bagging for Lazio during his debut season at the club in 1992.
