was posed a tough question by at ’s The Best awards which left him dropping an F-bomb live on stage.
The boss picked up the FIFA Men’s Coach of 2023 award after his side won the treble – Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup – last season.
Manchester City were also well represented in the World XI, with six players – John Stones, Bernardo Silva, Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland – picked.
As Henry presented Guardiola with his personal award he posed a tricky question to his former boss at Barcelona.
‘The last time that so many players were in the World XI was with you, when you were the coach of Barcelona. You had six players in that team in 2010. So… which is the best team, out of the two?’
Guardiola asked: ‘Who would win?’ Henry replied, ‘No, the best! You can be the best even if you lost a game’.
Seemingly stumped, the Spaniard said, ‘F**k’ and put his head in his hands, drawing laughter from the audience.
Doing his best to answer the question he said: ‘I don’t know, it would be a good game. I don’t know, both are incredible teams so honestly. That period in Barcelona was unbelievable, we were so young.
‘But this team as well in England, the Premier League is really tough and so competitive for many competitions and these guys season by season, even after winning the treble still we are there.
‘You wake up in the morning just to prepare and dream, being with them – not winning or losing – that’s the best award I can get as a manager by far.’
Alongside the six Manchester City stars in the World XI were Thibaut Courtois, Jude Bellingham, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr.
