Also part of the United squad which travelled to London on Saturday was Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir, who completed his move to Old Trafford on Friday.
Among those absent from the squad were Jadon Sancho and Scott McTominay.
Sancho is yet to start a Premier League game for United this season but he has featured as a substitute in all three matches.
McTominay, meanwhile, was heavily linked with a moved with a move away from United in the summer window but ended up staying at Old Trafford.
The Scotland international has played just seven minutes in the Premier League this season.
