Reece James has posted an emotional one-word response to his sister’s first goal.

Speaking after the match, the 21-year-old revealed her team-mates had a ‘feeling’ about her potential starring role in Friday’s game.

Her brother Reece took to Twitter shortly after the full-time whistle to praise the fellow Chelsea star.

Reece shared the Tweet with a throwback picture of the pair playing football together as children.
The 23-year-old hasn’t been shy in sharing his pride at the success of his sister who, as many pointed out, achieved an England goal before him.

Speaking after today’s game, Lauren James told the BBC her goal was a ‘dream’ come true.
She continued: ‘It’s something I’ve been thinking about, and most importantly I’m just happy to help my team win.
‘I kind of had a thought [it was going in] but as soon as it hit the net it was a relief.
‘My teammates were really happy for me. They said before the game that they had a good feeling about me today.
‘I’m thankful I had good people around me today.’
In her post-match interview, Sarina Wiegman added: ‘LJ made that beautiful goal, it was really nice.’
