The Red Devils are set to take their spending to around £160m when they announce the capture of in the next 72 hours.
He will join and at Old Trafford, with Erik ten Hag seeking one more midfielder to complete his transfer wishes.
Though Hojlund is not the experienced centre forward that Ten Hag craved, United were aware early in the window that Spurs had no consideration of selling Harry Kane to a Premier League rival.

‘What I’m really pleased about is the transfer window,’ Ferdinand told .
‘It’s been decisive, it’s been efficient, they’ve been effective in that they’ve gone for particular players and they’ve got them. I’m sure they wanted Kane but they’ve quickly realised that they would have been priced out of the market.
‘They couldn’t get him so move on, next target, who’s in line? They’ve more or less got him now and I really like that. That’s the difference to what we’ve been used to at .’
United will look to sign Sofyan Amrabat once Hojlund’s deal is completed.
However, the club must first sell players before moving for the Moroccan.
Dean Henderson, Eric Bailly, Donny van de Beek and Fred are all up for sale.
