A Saudi lawyer has called for to be deported over an alleged obscene gesture at an Al-Nassr match.

It has been reported after his team’s 2-0 defeat to Al-Hilal – following heckling from fans inside the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh – who also started to chant ’s name.

If the alleged action is deemed deliberate, Ronaldo’s gesture would be illegal in Saudi Arabia, leading to some to call for his deportation from the country.

Saudi lawyer Nouf bin Ahmed has now revealed that she will present a petition to the Public Ministry of Saudi Arabia for Ronaldo’s arrest and deportation.

She posted on Twitter: ‘I don’t follow sport. Even if the crowd provoked Ronaldo, he didn’t know how to react.

‘Cristiano’s behaviour is a crime. An indecent public act, which is one of the crimes that allows for arrest and deportation if committed by a foreigner.

‘We will present a petition to the Public Ministry regarding the issue.’

Al-Nassr sources have claimed that the former Manchester United star made the gesture because he suffered a knock during the game.

The 38-year-old played the full match, but was unable to get on the scoresheet or provide an assist in the 2-0 loss.

Instead, he had a goal disallowed and was also booked by referee Michael Oliver for grabbing Gustavo Cuellar in a headlock.

Former United striker Odion Ighalo scored two penalties to seal Al-Hilal’s win.

Ronaldo has scored a total of 11 goals across 11 games for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
