will be without when they travel to take on on Saturday, but Idrissa Gana Gueye still has a small chance of returning from injury for the weekend.

The Toffees have not won in their last 10 outings, with five defeats and five draws in that time after winning four games on the spin in December.

They go to Old Trafford this weekend coming off a disappointing 3-1 defeat at home to West Ham and Dyche is hopeful Gueye will be back from a groin issue, although Danjuma will not recover from an ankle problem till later this month.

‘Arnaut continues to make progress, but not there yet,’ Dyche told a press conference on Thursday. ‘Gana will be unlikely but we’ve got a chance, I would say
and a few knocks and bruises, but everyone should be alright.’

After this weekend, Everton are not back in action until 30 March at Bournemouth and Dyche says that could be a return date for Danjuma from his ankle ligament injury.

‘There’s a chance definitely,’ he said. ‘He’s doing very well, he’s working very hard.

‘He’s pleased with how it’s going as well, which is always a good sign, when the player feels right. So yeah we’re hopeful, but we’ll see.’

The Netherlands international is on loan at Goodison Park from Villarreal, scoring one goal in 14 Premier Leaague outings so far.

On the former Bournemouth winger, Dyche said: ‘I think we spoke when I brought him in, he can be flexible, finding the right game time and habit forming that we want for the team has been a challenge for him but I think he’s doing that well.

‘I thought he was really good down at Fulham and then he gets injured. An injury that looked quite innocuous has ended up being quite a serious injury.’
