The agent of Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has rubbished ‘fake’ reports where he reportedly claimed his client was keen on a move to .
Mateja Kezman, the former striker, represents the Serbian midfielder.
Several Italian publications carried quotes over the weekend where Kezman was quoted as saying that he was in talks with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain over a summer move for Milinkovic-Savic.
It was then claimed that Kezman said his client was keen on a move to Old Trafford and that he was hopeful of engineering a move to the club.
However, the former PSV striker has rubbished the claims and says they are completely ‘fake’.
‘It’s fake news,’ said Kezman.
‘I have never given interviews in the last period, some journalists are really incredible!’
‘I’m very angry, it is a lack of respect towards me, towards Sergej and Lazio.’
United are keen to bolster their midfield this season as Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Nemanja Matic are all set to leave the club.
Erik ten Hag is keen on signing Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona but the Dutchman plays in a deeper role than Milinkovic-Savic.
