will look to appoint Jean-Claude Blanc as ’s new CEO once he completes a minority stake investment in the club.

The British billionaire is set to take control of football operations once a £1.4bn investment is ratified by the club, possibly this week.

Richard Arnold, the club’s current CEO, is set to vacate his role by the end of the year after a review from Ratcliffe and his INEOS team.

They want to appoint a new CEO to oversee operations at the club, following years of overspending and controversy off the pitch.

Blanc has worked at both Juventus and Paris Saint-German over the last decade, and he has a background in a variety of different sports like cycling and running.

Dave Brailsford is expected to work alongside Ratcliffe to run the sporting side of the club, while the Glazers will retain control over the ‘commercial’ side.

Blanc was instrumental in the financing of Juventus’ new stadium, and oversaw a period in which the Italians returned to the top of the Serie A.

More recently, Blanc has been working for INEOS as a CEO and overseeing the company’s investments into cycling, running, football and sailing.
