have targeted three players for the transfer window including star Joshua Kimmich, according to reports.

United are looking to bring in stars entering the final year of their contracts this summer, such as Kimmich, although the Red Devils must fight and a host of other clubs for the Germany international’s signature.

Kimmich can operate as a defensive midfielder or right-back, producing 41 goals and 100 assists across 370 games for the German champions.

United have acknowledged that their finances are ‘tight’ and believe that targeting players at the end of their contracts is a good way of managing their summer spend.
