has urged his Tottenham Hotspur players not to be afraid of Liverpool ahead of the clash between the two sides on Saturday.

Spurs travel to Anfield to face a dominant Liverpool team who are still in contention to win an unprecedented quadruple of trophies this season.

The Reds claimed the Carabao Cup in February, are one point off Premier League leaders and have reached the finals of the and .

The latter of those was achieved last Tuesday, when Liverpool survived a scare against Villarreal to qualify for their third European Cup final in five years.

‘Jurgen Klopp is doing a great job with this team, especially for an English team to arrive at the end of the season to stay in the race for all the competitions you compete in,’ Conte said in his pre-match press conference on Thursday.

‘I think that it’s incredible because you can see Liverpool’s players. They run a lot and they don’t have many injuries. They’re doing a fantastic job. Their enthusiasm is 200% and you don’t feel fatigue at this point.’

While beating a team who have not lost in 13 games may sound near impossible, it is imperative for Conte that his Spurs’ side get something out of Saturday’s evening match.

With four games left in the season, the Lilywhites are fifth in the table, two points behind fierce rivals Arsenal and the coveted Champions League qualification spot.

‘We need to go there and play our game. We are in the race for a place in the Champions League and we have to find a way to get points in every game,’ the Italian manager added.

‘We are playing against one of the best teams in the world away. We prepare like usual. We are trying to have a good idea. I hope not the same idea as Liverpool. For sure we know that in this moment Liverpool are in really good form.

‘I have watched the game against Villarreal, and it was incredible the calm that the team showed in a difficult situation. They were 2-0 down and the atmosphere was very difficult. They are one of the best teams in the world with Manchester City.

‘We’ve prepared for the game very well. We need to be very good without the ball, to be good defensively, but if we want to win, we have to be very good with the ball.

‘I said this to my players. We need to play a good game, not to be scared of the pressure.’
