is planning a significant change to the hierarchy at , in advanced talks with Chris Jurasek to come in as new chief executive at Stamford Bridge.

Jurasek is currently operating executive of Clearlake Capital, the private equity firm which co-owns the Blues, and CEO of EagleView Technologies, another business that Clearlake have invested in.

reports that talks are in the final stages to bring him to west and Jurasek’s arrival is part of a ‘broader management restructure’ which will impact current President of Business Tom Glick.

The former Chief Commercial Officer of City Football Group only began working at Chelsea in July but it appears that Glick will be reporting to Jurasek, if he arrives as expected.

It has been something of a chaotic time for Chelsea since Boehly and Clearlake bought the club last year and the period of upheaval is obviously not at an end.

Frank Lampard remains in charge of the first team as temporary manager but the club legend will not be in that role next season, with a new boss still to be announced.

Former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is widely expected to take up the permanent position, but there has been no confirmation as yet.

Until a new manager is in place there remains doubts over a number of the players in the Chelsea squad, with a significant clear-out expected this summer, but the next boss will have a say in who he wants to keep hold of or let go.

The Blues are back on the pitch on Saturday in the Premier League against Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge.
