Long-term target insists that there is ‘nothing at all’ in terms of developments in a potential move to Old Trafford, saying that the only contract offer he has received is from current club Villarreal.

‘Right now there is nothing at all, there is talk of many things like every year,’ Torres told Spanish publication AS, via the .
‘I have peace of mind of being where they want me, at the club of my life and I have this offer right now that I value as very positive.
‘There is nothing right now, the only thing I have is the offer from Villarreal, so I am very calm.’
Torres reportedly has a release clause in his Villarreal contract of £55m, although a bid of between £40-£45m could be enough to tempt the La Liga side into a sale with just two years left on his contract.
The Spaniard has been a mainstay in the Villarreal team over the last three seasons, making 47 appearances in all competitions over the last campaign, scoring six goals.
