West Ham striker Michail Antonio has tipped Everton to suffer relegation from the Premier League this season.
Norwich City have already been relegated to the Championship following their defeat to last weekend, while also look set to go down.
Everton’s recent victory over has given them hope, with the Toffees now two points from safety with a game in hand over Burnley and Leeds United.
Burnley and Leeds are the teams two points above the 18th-placed Toffees, meaning a dramatic finish to the season is in store.
Giving his verdict on the relegation battle, Antonio told : ‘Burnley are in and around it but the way they have played right now, I didn’t even include them in the three, because I feel they are going to be safe.
‘I actually think it could be because they’re not used to being down there or being in this fight.
‘They’re used to being higher up the table and looking up, looking down is a completely different pressure and I don’t know if they can get themselves out of it.’
Following Everton’s vital win over Chelsea at Goodison Park on Sunday, Toffees boss Frank Lampard celebrated passionately.
But the Blues legend was quick to plead with fans of his former club to understand his actions given the circumstances.
‘I have so much respect for Chelsea and the fans,’ said Lampard. ‘So I hope they understand me getting excited with the win.
‘We needed it today, more than them. I have to be honest. For me, it was all about Everton today. Three points are so critical to us, when you see what it means to our fans’ lives.’
