Gunners technical director Edu, who was Brazil’s general coordinator from 2016 to 2019, has previously heaped praise on the City star.
‘He works very hard. He is only 19 but he is very focused to do his job and focused to play well,’ Edu told the of Jesus in 2017.
‘So, he lives as a professional, and for me, he can be very successful in the Premier League.
‘He has to be focused in training and the games.
‘Lifestyle, family and friends has to be second plans.’
When discussing Arsenal’s transfer plans recently, Edu hinted the north London club will be focusing on two marquee signings this summer.

‘Maybe next season we can go to one or two players. Today we find a much more balanced squad. Our planning has already been done, it has already reached the owners.
‘It’s a matter of step by step, how we are going to finish the season and to put in place the planning that I’m very excited about.’
