take on Sheffield United at the City Ground in the on Friday night, but unfortuately it is not available to watch in the UK.

Many will have seen some Premier League action on a Friday evening and been looking forward to starting their weekend with two teams who are desperate to pick up their first points of the season.

However, the fixture has been rearranged from its original time and was never due to be televised, so it is not being shown in its new time slot.

The Tricky Trees were due to play the Blades on Saturday at 3pm, but due to two cricket matches being played at Trent Bridge on Saturday, there were fears over congestion.

The cricket ground is extremely near the City Ground, less than a mile away, and it was deemed necessary for the Premier League contest to be moved to Friday night to avoid two full houses so close to each other.

As the original 3pm kick-off was not initially selected by any of the Premier League’s broadcast rights holders to be shown live then it cannot be added to their schedules despite it moving to a different date and time.

Both Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United suffered defeats in their opening Premier League games of the season, with Forest losing 2-1 at Arsenal and the Blades beaten 1-0 by Crystal Palace.

One or both will pick up points for the first time this campaign on Friday night, but we will not be watching it live in the UK.
