Former defender has urged Gunners captain to ‘do more’ and replicate club legend Dennis Bergkamp.

‘I really like Martin Odegaard but I want him to do more and think he can do more, not only because he is the captain, but because he has the quality,’ Gallas told .
‘He has to do more. I want to see him making the difference in every single game if he wants to go to another level.
‘When I compared him to Dennis Bergkamp, Bergkamp was a player that could do something special in almost every game, whether that was a goal or an assist.
‘If Odegaard wants to reach Bergkamp’s level, he has to do more. If you want to win the Premier League, you need a player like Odegaard on fire.’
Meanwhile, Gallas has compared Arsenal star Bukayo Saka to football icon Arjen Robben.
‘He is a player that is so dangerous because he has the ability to do so many different things,’ Gallas added. ‘A player that was a little bit similar who I played with was Arjen Robben.
‘Robben was a very difficult player to stop, and Saka is the same. If I had to compare Saka to one player that I played with, then it would be Robben. Both guys have a beautiful left foot and brilliant movement.’
