The draw for the group stage takes place in Qatar on Friday.
The draw is scheduled to begin at 5pm GMT with 29 of the 32 teams already known.
The teams will be drawn into eight groups of four and the draw with begin with the nations in Pot 1. Tournament hosts Qatar have already been allocated the A1 position.
The other teams in Pot 1 will be picked out and then allocated a group, before moving on to Pot 2 where the same process is repeated until the draw is complete.
Teams from the same continent will be kept apart, apart from European nations where a maximum of two can be placed in the same group.
The World Cup is due to begin on November 21, while the final will be held on December 18.
