Youri Tielemans should move to and snub as the two clubs battle to sign the midfielder, according to Louis Saha.
The 25-year-old Belgium international only had one year left on his current Leicester deal and has his heart set on leaving the club this summer.
Tielemans, who has registered 158 appearances for the Foxes since arriving at the King Power Stadium from Monaco in 2019 – initially on a loan deal before signing permanently for around £32m – is thought to be available for around £25m.
During his time at Leicester he has helped the club win the and was named Player of the Season for the 2020-21 campaign.
Tielemans started his career with Belgian club Anderlecht, where he was considered one of the brightest prospects in European football, helping them win two top-flight titles and was linked to various clubs, including United.
Fast forward to present day and United are once again being linked with a move, with former Red Devil Saha telling Tielemans to pick his old club over Arsenal.
‘I’d have to say Man United all day,’ said Saha, who won two Premier League titles, the Champions League and EFL Cup during his 2004-2008 spell at Old Trafford, in an interview with .
‘Tielemans has always been linked with Man United, even when he was at Anderlecht. He’s always had that connection.’
Speaking about his own future last month, Tielemans was asked if he could leave Leicester this summer and replied: ‘That is not out of the question.
‘I feel very good at Leicester, I was welcomed with open arms from day one. I give everything for the club until the last day.
‘But of course you have to listen to other opportunities, you have to look at your career, and sometimes you have to make choices. Maybe one will come my way.’
