Zinedine Zidane’s agent has slammed ‘unfounded’ report claiming the France legend has agreed to become the new Paris Saint-Germain manager.
The former boss has been out of management since ending his second spell at the Bernabeu in May last year.
The winner is widely expected to replace at Parc de Princes this summer, with the Argentine’s future in the French capital in doubt since the club’s miserable collapse against Real in March.
RMC Sport and reports in Spain claim a deal between PSG and Zidane is done, with the club officially confirming their new football advisor in Luis Campos today.
However, Zidane’s agent Alain Migliaccio insists there has been no contact with the French champions.
“All these rumours are unfounded. As of right now, I am the only person who can represent Zinedine Zidane. Neither Zidane nor myself have been directly contacted by PSG’s owner,’ Migliaccio told .
Major changes are underway at PSG this summer with Campos’ arrival set to trigger a squad revamp.
Mauro Icardi, Idrissa Gueye, Danilo Pereira, Keylor Navas and Julian Draxler are among those who could leave while reports claim Neymar has been available for a transfer.
Paul Pogba meanwhile has been strongly linked with a move when he leaves Manchester United at the end of the month.
However, that move is thought to be unlikely at this stage. Â
