Scotland and Ukraine still need to play their play-off clash where the winner will go up against Wales to book their spot in Qatar.

Unlike previous summer tournaments, the heat in Qatar means this year’s competition will get underway on Monday, November 21 with football fans treated to nearly a month’s worth of action in the lead up to Christmas.

Kick-off times for England’s matches are not yet confirmed but we do now know the dates the Three Lions will be playing their group matches.

England will kick off their World Cup campaign against Iran on Monday, November 21 – the opening day of the tournament – although it will not be the opening match as that will involve hosts Qatar, who face Ecuador.

Four days later, England face off against USA on Friday, November 25 before taking on either Wales, Scotland or Ukraine on Tuesday, November 29.

Should England make it out of their group, they will take on one of Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal or the Netherlands in the last-16.

Depending on if England win their group or finish second, they will play their last-16 match on either December 3 or 4.

In the first two rounds of matches, games will kick off at 1pm, 4pm, 7pm and 10pm in Qatar (10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm UK time).
