Louis Saha believes should resist the temptation to rejoin and sign for one of ’s Premier League rivals instead.

The France international appears to have played his final game for United with his contract due to expire next month.

New United manager Erik ten Hag will be watching on from the stands, but according to reports, .

Pogba has never totally looked at home in English football since his return to Old Trafford in the summer of 2016, but Saha believes Stamford Bridge represents an environment that would bring the best out of Pogba.

‘Chelsea is the obvious match for Pogba because he loves to play with N’Golo Kante,’ Saha told .

‘We always try to compare what he does with France and United and the ability of Kante makes Pogba play to another dimension and that’s the truth.

‘Only Pogba can indicate where he wants to go, I’m just sad he hasn’t fulfilled his dream.’

Kante, himself, has endured a difficult season at Chelsea and missed around 40% of his side’s matches, but manager Thomas Tuchel insists the 31-year-old remains an integral part of his plans.

‘I think he is our key, key, key player, but key, key, key players need to be on the pitch,’ said Tuchel after last night’s result which confirmed Chelsea would finish in third place behind Liverpool and Manchester City.

‘He plays only 40% of the games then it is maybe a miracle that we arrive in third place. He is our Mo Salah, he is our Van Dijk, he is our De Bruyne. He is simply that player, he is our Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

‘He is that guy who makes the difference, and if you only have him for 40%, then it is a huge problem.

‘Given that percentage, it is maybe a miracle that he produces results. It puts everything into perspective as I saw Liverpool without Van Dijk last season, and they struggled heavily. You see the difference. N’Golo is our key player, and we need him on the pitch.’
