Manchester United star Marcus Rashford’s transfer stance revealed amid Arsenal interest

star is open to the possibility of leaving Old Trafford as weigh up a move for the out-of-form forward, according to reports.

The 24-year-old has slipped down the pecking order under interim boss in recent months, starting just 10 of United’s 29 Premier League games after beginning the season with a shoulder injury.

With Rashford entering the final year of his contract, doubts have begun to emerge surrounding his future – though the club can trigger a one-year extension.

Arsenal, who are in need of a new frontman following Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s exit, , while Barcelona have also been linked win a move.

The Gunners are also braced to lose contract rebels Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah in the summer and see Rashford as a quality, homegrown addition while they have not been put off by his lack of form.

Rashford, though, could be difficult to prise away from Manchester despite his recent struggles, with the local boy having a great affinity for the club after coming through the academy.

But, according to, Rashford is ‘open-minded’ about his future and in ‘no rush’ to commit to new terms with United, with the club looking to tie down his future.

Irrespective of his lack of goals, United’s hierarchy want to secure a new long-term deal for the England international – as well as defender Luke Shaw and midfielder Bruno Fernandes – and still regard him as an important member of the squad.

But Rashford is willing to bide his time before deciding whether to put pen to paper with United or explore other opportunities elsewhere.

Right now, though, Rashford’s only concern is getting back in Rangnick’s starting XI and helping the team secure a top-four finish and Champions League football, while he is also keen to win back his place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad ahead of the World Cup in Qatar later this year.

Rashford has netted just four Premier League goals this season, also laying on two assists, and could fail to reach double figures for the first time in four campaigns.
