has shared with fans amid his terminal cancer.

The presenter, 49, revealed last November that a tumour in his lung had spread to his brain, with doctors uncertain how long he had to live.

He later admitted that professionals didn’t expect him to see in 2023.

In the property expert revealed that not only had he had MRI and CT scans, but they took place in a rather unusual location.

Sharing a video to Instagram, the dad-of-three filmed himself walking through the sunshine in a car park.

‘I had some scans today,’ Jonnie began.

‘Not in a hospital …but in a leisure centre car park,’ he said with a funny expression.

‘MRI and CT unit in this!’, Jonnie added, panning the camera around to a mobile treatment room.

‘Surprising!’, Jonnie exclaimed with a smile.

Writing in his caption, the Escape to the Country star was full of praise for the health service.

‘I actually had a great experience’, he said.

‘We were able to park almost on the doorstep, no queue and done n dusted in under 15 minutes. Well done #nhs’.

Jonnie has recently returned home with his wife Jess and their young sons: Rex, four, and two-year-old twins Rafa and Cormac.

Despite on the journey there, as all three kids were stuck in the car with iPads – and no headphones! – Jonnie and his adorable family had the ‘best’ time.

Delighting fans with the cutest snaps from the trip, the presenter took to social media over the weekend.

He wrote: ‘The best weather, best fun and the very best people for a few days away.’

of his wife, kids, and himself enjoying their staycation, including one where he was sitting on a sun lounger with his three sons wearing matching shirts.

They also took a dip in the pool and larked around with all kinds of inflatable toys.

Jonnie’s little ones remain as he’s said he doesn’t wish to ‘confuse’ them by having the conversation.

However, he has spoken publicly about his ‘uncomfortable limits’ and admitted to

‘I really would like to go on holiday – every week I feel a little bit stronger,’ he recently explained to  in an interview.

‘I don’t think I would be able to go long haul, I wouldn’t feel comfortable but if I could go somewhere in Spain, Portugal or Italy – that would be great,’ the star added.

He also told the outlet: ‘I get more tired, my appetite has been affected but I’m just trying to do as much as possible all the time really.’
