You can be one of the hardest action stars in Hollywood, but it won’t stop you getting into the full swing (and costume) for the weekend, it turns out.
Well, at least according to , who was filmed in a full-on Easter Bunny costume as he sprinted around his garden, chased by kids.
The pretty unexpected – and faintly terrifying – transformation was caught on camera by his fiancée, , as they joined in with .
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the 35-year-old shared the evidence of her 55-year-old partner’s Easter Sunday larks as tertained the children in the group, including their five-year-old son, Jack.
‘Get it Jack, get him!’ was heard being shouted across the garden as rabbit Jason rounded the hedge, being chased by the kids, much to the delight of a chuckling Rosie.
‘Happy Easter,’ she captioned the first clip with a rabbit emoji, before moving to a laugh-crying emoji for the second as the Easter Bunny could be seen tearing across the lawn.
‘Daddy!’ was then cried triumphantly by Jack as the Easter Bunny was finally caught by the keen chocolate-hunting kids.
Later on, Rosie offered a close-up on Jason still in full costume as he hopped up to the adults’ table on the patio while Jack questioned him over what we presume was additional Easter eggs, asking: ‘Daddy is there still more?’
The Expendables actor and producer stayed commendably in character as a non-verbal bunny, merely shrugging with his paws up in response.
Rosie and Jason spend most of their time over in LA where they live, but also like to jet home to the UK when they can.
They , daughter Isabella, 14 months, last February.
The couple, who have been engaged since 2016, keep their romance private, with on Rosie’s social media accounts (dressing up days excepted, of course).
Last March, she shared a quick selfie snap of the pair of them in the back of a car as she also revealed part of newborn Isabella’s face at the same time.
