has been spotted enjoying a fun FaceTime call in Rome as he prepares to get to work on his next movie.

The actor, 63, was seen having lunch al fresco in Rome as he read over a script on his own, before pausing to make a call.

Alec was seen smiling broadly at whoever was on the end of the call – likely wife Hilaria and their children – before poking his tongue out as he pulled funny faces.

It comes after Alec and Hilaria, 38, which will be his eighth overall as he has daughter Ireland Baldwin, 26, with ex-wife Kim Basinger, 68.

Sharing a video of them and their six children getting excited about a new arrival, Hilaria wrote: ‘After many ups and downs over the past few years, we have an exciting up and a huge surprise: another Baldwinito is coming this fall.

‘We were pretty sure our family was complete, and we’re beyond happy with this surprise. I’m sharing with you the moment we told the kids—as you can see, they are super excited!

‘Our new baby is a very bright spot in our lives. A blessing and a gift during such uncertain times.’

Alec has been as he prepare to start work on a new movie, five months after the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust.

She was Ki**ed when a bullet discharged from a prop gun the actor had been holding on set in October 2021, with the production being shut down immediately afterward.

The investigation into how the tragic incident, which also injured director Joel Souza, occurred is ongoing.Â
