The Geordie duo was after their weekly ITV entertainment show was axed in favour of the .
Viewers instead saw Ireland play Scotland before France took on England in the final match of this year’s championship, rather than and front a bunch of big money competitions and prank their celebrity friends.
However, the pair have confirmed they’ll be back on television screens this Saturday and posted two pictures of themselves at the beach with a horse… because, why not?
In the photo, Dec is seen riding the pony while Ant holds a selfie stick and captures the picture while holding onto the reins.
Captioning the post, they wrote: ‘Not easy taking a selfie on the hoof while you’re horsing around ?But this one came out pretty well?! ? We’re live in the studio again this Saturday 7pm! ? #SaturdayNightTakeaway.’
Fans were over the moon by the images and rushed to Twitter to celebrate the presenters’ upcoming return.
