star is definitely not one to stand by and take a rude message, hitting back at a follower who claimed she’s ‘gained a few pounds’.

Responding, Naga simply quipped: ‘Thank goodness for people like Paul.’

Fans quickly responded to support the star, with one writing: ‘I love you for calling out the haters,’ while another added: ‘Do people really tweet this kind of stuff?!? I give up! You’re gorgeous, Naga, ignore the haters!’

It’s not the first time , with a follower previously branding her an ‘overpaid biased witch’ in a shocking message.

Instead of rising to the audience member’s venom, Naga simply replied: ‘Sending Big Love to you Rosie X.’

The star has been a staple on BBC Breakfast alongside the likes of Charlie Stayt but one of their co-stars, Dan Walker, is

He’s set to leave the BBC to present on Channel 5 News, recently announcing the move.

Revealing the news on Monday, Dan said ‘it’s been a massive decision’ for him to leave the BBC for his new role at Channel 5.

The move will also see him present a slate of new shows on the channel, including a range of brand-new non-news programming for Channel 5.

Dan joins Claudia-Liza Vanderpuije who co-presents 5 News, which is produced by ITN.

Speaking about the move, Dan said in a statement: ‘I can’t wait to get stuck into the daily news show, but I am also excited about making some great new TV for Channel 5.

‘I love their ideas and creativity and it’s rare to get an opportunity like this where paths and ambitions meet. The chance to do something different was too good to turn down.’
