has never been afraid to explore more alternative styles, looking effortlessly cool at all times, but a new hair hasn’t impressed fans.
After recently getting a , a picture of Billie’s ‘new’ hair has gone viral on X (Twitter) for looking like ‘a map’.
With a middle name like Pirate Baird we fully believe the Hostage singer could rock anything she chose to – heat map-esque or not.
The red, green, and yellow ombre on the bad guy singer’s roots is undeniably reminiscent of the warnings around – only it’s not real.
That’s right guys, Billie, 21, has not dyed her hair to look like a heat map despite the fake picture being viewed over 44 million times on X, having originally been shared on .
‘Billie Eilish via Instagram stories?❤?,’ read the simple caption by fan account goldeilishgirl, with viewers unleashing their overwhelmingly negative responses.
‘ appearing on the Met Offices map today,’ joked one quote tweet – yikes.
‘Looks like a weather map,’ said someone else with many editing Billie into forecast displays claiming it was ‘giving AccuWeather.’
Another said: ‘Her head look like the hurricane charts’.
Some were apologising for not liking the hair, believing it was a legitimate look – one shared: ‘She look like the weather radar thing I’m sorry ?.’
Even a former Disney channel star was dragged into it as fans joked about her 2012 song Hurricane, writing: ‘Bridget Mendler in 2012.’
This wasn’t the only pop culture deep dive as people referenced 80s classic films, with one person tweeting: ‘Predator from the movie Predator using the thermal heat vision to see my 3 remaining brain cells.’
Others said she looked like a football player’s thermal map from a game as one fan joked: ‘Billie Eilish is a sports analytics fan.’
While we stand by our belief that Billie could pull off any look she wanted too, even a hurricane map, judging by responses this wouldn’t go down well with fans.
Billie currently has jet black hair with a bright red root as seen in her recent Gucci campaign pictures and Halloween snaps – no green in sight.
Metro had reached out to Billie Eilish for comment.
