Bray Wyatt collaborator Jason Baker has opened up on the impact boss Triple H had on their long lasting partnership.
The practical effects guru, with friend, mentor and Hollywood legend Tom Savini, has worked with the former world champion extensively over the years and he has explained how it all goes back to The Game.
He exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘I don’t know if anyone’s ever really told this story, but the reason that I know Bray all trickles back to Triple H.
‘What happened was Tom and Triple H started working together 10, 11 years ago, and Tom brought me on, started bringing me backstage, started meeting me people.
‘Tom started pawning me off on everybody. He’s like, “Go get it done, make sure it gets done. Don’t make me look bad!” That’s how I met Bray, we started talking and coming up with ideas, and that’s how I met everyone else.’
The rest was history, with Jason going onto work with Bray on everything from the Wyatt Family masks, and to The Fiend masks and everything since his comeback last year.
‘It was Triple H’s idea to hire someone like Tom to make his entrance gear for him to bring that next level of Hollywood level quality products into professional wrestling,’ he explained.
Speaking before Bray’s unexplained absence – the former world champion hasn’t been seen on screen since February this year – Jason also weighed in on Triple H’s creative approach at the time.
‘Triple H is open to suggestions and ideas. It’s a really fun, collaborative place to be part of,’ he said.
There have been reports that Bray is out of action due to illness, but both the star and WWE have been tight lipped on the situation since his last TV appearance.
He was in a storyline with Bobby Lashley in the build-up to WrestleMania 39, but it was abruptly halted just weeks before the huge event.
