It’s said she later heard his alarm going off without him waking and when she went to check on him, she found him lying in bed not breathing, with her mother giving him CPR as JoJo called 911.
A source told People that he died in his sleep, having seen a doctor earlier on Thursday due to an ongoing heart condition.
He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
TMZ reports that Wyatt had developed heart complications which led to him having a ‘weak lower part of his heart’ following a battle with earlier this year.
It’s said he was hospitalised with a heart issue a week before his death, and doctors had recommended he wear an external defibrillator after a follow-up appointment.
According to TMZ, Wyatt was not wearing the defibrillator at the time of his death and it was found in his car on the driveway.
However it’s not clear if it would have saved his life.
Wyatt hadwith reports he had been battling an unspecified illness.
His death was revealed on Thursday by , who announced he had ‘unexpectedly passed’
He wrote on X (formerly Twitter): ‘Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda – also known as Bray Wyatt – unexpectedly passed earlier today.
‘Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time.’
Wyatt is survived by two daughters from his relationship with ex-wife Samantha, who he was married to from 2012 to 2017. He became last year – they shared a daughter and a son.
