It’s that time of year again for the entertainment industry…

We’ve just found out , and now it’s time for .

The Awards are designed to champion the best of British music – while also giving props to artists from the US and around the globe.

Some of the biggest winners of the annual award include , Coldplay, Annie Lennox, and Take That, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, the Spice Girls and .

So, when is the 2023 ceremony happening, and how can you watch it at home?

When is the Brit Awards 2023? Ceremony date

The Brit Awards will take place on Saturday, February 11, 2023.

The ceremony is to be held at The O2 in Greenwich, London, with things kicking off in the evening.

Who is hosting the Brits this year?

British comedian and The Masked Singer star Mo Gilligan is set to host this year’s ceremony.

Mo, 34, previously hosted the Brits in 2022 – having taken over from comic Jack Whitehall.

As for 2023’s performances, , Becky Hill, David Guetta, Ella Henderson, Wet Leg, Cat Burns, Sam Smith and Kim Petras.

Which artists are nominated for Brits this year?

We already know who’ll be taking home the – girl group Flo, comprised of Jorja Douglas, Stella Quaresma, and Renée Downer.

However, the main – as the Artist of the Year category, replacing separate Best Male and Female Artist awards, failed to highlight any women stars.

, , Fred again.., Central Cee and George Ezra were all given nods, while artists such as Adele didn’t make the cut.

Nominations for this category went to pop performers Cat Burns, Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles and Sam Smith – with no R&B names mentioned in the five slots.

The news prompted R&B singer (and former Brits nominee) Mahalia to tweet: ‘Forget putting us in this category. Give us our own!!!!!’

Up for International Artist of the Year are mega stars Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Lizzo, plus Kendrick Lamar and Burna Boy – while Group of the Year nominees include The 1975, Arctic Monkeys and Wet Leg.

How to watch the Brit Awards 2023 on TV

Get your TVs ready on February 11, as the Brits will be broadcast on ITV1 from 8.30pm until 10.45pm.

Fans of host Mo are in for a treat this Saturday, as he’ll also appear on the preceding programme – The Masked Singer, on which he is a judge – from 7pm until 8.30pm.
